  I was referred to Tony's Jewelry by Things Remembered in Lakeside mall to take a watch i just purchased there. I needed the plate on back of the watch turned straight so that I could have it engraved at Things Remembered straight on, and not crooked. The lady at Tony's took off the back of the watch and tried straightening it unsuccessfully. She gave it back to me to take to Things Remembered, and I noticed a scratch on it. Which was NOT there when I handed it to her or prior to. I just bought the watch 10 minutes before bringing it to Tony's. I showed it to her, and the older gentlman working. I said, " you scratched my brand new watch". She said, " I didn't pay attention to how it was." I said, "ok... well it wasn't like that when I bought it just now or when I took it to Things Remembered 10 to 15 minutes ago." She said, "well it's not going to be perfect. " The worker who scratched my brand new watch told me to try to return it to the store I bought it from and ask for a new one. When I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor i was told no-one was there. I told Things Remembered what happened and they said they will NEVER refer another customer there. And i will NEVER RECOMMEND OR RETURN to Tony's jewelery store again. I was shown a lack of respect and the associate there gave me a giant attitude after SHE DAMAGED MY BRAND NEW WATCH. This was a BRAND NEW watch i just bought for my boyfriends birthday gift, and it got ruined with no offer to try to rectify the situation or fix this. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finally took it to Tonys after the engraving was done around an hour later and asked for a manager name and number. I was rudely told to call the store and given no name. I did NOT let Tonys put the watch plate back on and took it elsewhere . I had to PAY another company to try and polish up my brand new watch, which now has scratches on it. So disappointed in the lack of customer service and respect i received. I will be warning everyone I know about this place.

  I went to Lakeside mall the other day to look at Christmas gifts and I had a great experience at this store. Everyone was extreemly friendly and helpful. I walked right in and got exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price. I will definitely be back again!
